Hola from Nicaragua! I am so excited to finally be updating you from here right now. It is sweaty, hot, and I speak little to no Spanish..but this place rocks. I'll post pictures and videos later of where we are staying, but let me just tell you, it's beautiful!

Brittany, Me, & Elisa at our Casa!

Yesterday was our first day of ministry, and it felt so good. I always knew how much I loved this; being in a foreign country, walking in dirty streets, having smelly children climbing all over me all the time, but it's been over a year since I've been at it. Oh baby...let me tell you how good it feels to be back! I just love it. It seems like I've almost forgotten how much I love this lifestyle. It just feels so right in so many ways.

I don't have too much to post in that we have only been here for 3 days, but I definitely want to tell you about what I saw in church the other day! As I said before, I quite literally know no Spanish. So the first couple of days has been difficult to say the least, especially with only one translator around. But I experienced something really cool during worship at church the other day. They sang so many popular songs in Spanish like 'open the eyes of my heart', or 'how great is our god'. We sang them in English, of course, because we didn't know them in Spanish. But as we were singing I stopped to listen and heard this beautiful mesh of Spanish & English clashing and it was glorious. It sounded so Heavenly, hearing all the different languages and voices all singing praise to one powerful God. It seemed like just a tiny glimpse of how Heaven will be. It gives me chills just thinking about it!

I honestly can't wait to see what is going to happen next here. This place is so legit. I'll have a lot more to post about later, I promise! But I really hope you all are doing well! Please let me know how you are and how I can be praying for you.

Adios!
